I don't know why, but I love this picture. I got some wonderful presents from my cousin and was attempting to showcase them, but Aren wasn't having it. I got a bunch of blurry pictures with one cute one and this. He was not keen on posing for pictures that day.

Anyway, Aren is now 7 weeks old, and he's filled out quite a bit. I think he's up to 5.5 kg (about 12 lbs). He's basically grown out of his 0-3 month onesies and even though they're a little big I have him in 6 month onesies. He'll outgrow them soon enough.

We've started getting into a new daily rhythm, so I feel like I have time again. I can actually even take care of myself a little (though I haven't managed to paint my toenails yet).

Here's a picture H took yesterday. I was filing Aren's fingernails and H was trying to distract him. He also tried taking video, but Aren wouldn't smile for the video.

I know my blog has actually become Aren's blog recently, but my life has been about his life. So shoganai! (= It can't be helped) I hope you enjoy reading about all of Aren's little 'steps.'
