We woke up to spring today. It's 19C! (66F!) I got my sandals out and rolled up my jeans :)

In house building news: I realized that I didn't go out to take pictures yesterday, so we went to have a look around 10 this morning. The carpenter guys were taking a break, so the two that we met before came over to say hello. As you can see, the skeleton is going up. Tomorrow it's supposed to rain, so they are probably trying to get as much done today as possible.

After we got back from taking pictures of the house, I put on my rubber boots and gathered my tools and went out to tackle my spring/summer project. This is the land behind the shop. My husband's aunt and uncle used to grow all kinds of vegetables here. But sadly, they have both moved to an assisted living home and there is no one to make yummy vegetables. My mother-in-law did a little bit last year. You can see the left over rows in the forground. I think she only did three or four rows of eggplant, tomato, okra and green pepper. I'm not sure what we'll plant this year, but I want to make a place for Allen to play too. Of course we need a fence first...
