So I passed the driving test/obstacle course. Second time, or rather second instructor, was the charm I guess. The first instructor sat in silence during the entire test, while the second actually gave instruction. Stop here, turn left, slow down now... I think having someone remind me of those things was a relief and stressful all at the same time. It was nice to know exactly what he wanted me to do, but every time he gave me a new command I forgot what I was doing for a second. It also felt like he was telling me because I wasn't doing it right. Though I must've done something right since I passed. Anyway... now it's over and it's finally time to go car shopping. I'm not sure if I'll buy a car now or wait until I get back from my visit to the states. If I find a great deal, I don't think I'll hesitate to buy before I go. Today I'm going to go meet a friend of a friend at a used car dealership. I hope it'll give me a good idea of what to expect with prices and selection. I did a lot of checking on the Internet, but it's not the same thing as seeing and sitting in and driving the car... I just got back. It was not what I expected. How can you call yourself a car dealer if you don't have any cars to show? Apparently they find everything by Internet auction. I guess it's a good way to find something cheap. We'll see, won't we.
Here's a picture of a small show I did at an instrumental shop last year. But you can only see my pretty Ovation a little (^_^)
