Ahhh...Friday (^_^) My week is almost over. Whenever I show enthusiasm about it being Friday, my boyfriend scowls and says that it's the same as any other day. He works through the weekend. Even when I used to work on Saturday, there was always something nice about Friday. Today has been pretty nice. It's been warm, almost like spring is coming, and I only had two classes. After school, my 3rd grade (9th grade) elective class will practice the puppet show that we're putting on next week. We're doing The 3 Little Pigs for one of the 2nd (8th) grade classes. I think it'll be pretty entertaining, and easy enough for them to understand. The pig's names are Mike, Bob and Cherry. Cherry being the brick house one. The girl is the smartest, of course. I ended up making the houses because we didn't have enough time for the kids to do it. They took too much time making their own characters, and we had them write part of the script.

My most interesting thing of the day is that I made the local newspaper. I talked to a reporter when I went to one of the elementary schools day before yesterday, but at the time, I thought she was writing about the school or more generally about native English teachers in the area. Nope...she wrote about me going to the school and what I taught. It's flattering and embarrassing all at the same time. At least the picture is not too bad. (T T)
