I'm not going to write much today, because it's like a sauna in here and I want to go home. I long for air conditioning. I really hope my next job has a good AC.
So, I had my hair consulting for the wedding. It was not only about hair. Apparently they do everything from facials to nails to back massages that will make you back look better in your dress. The first facial is free, so I think I'm only having one. I'm pretty sure that all of the other stuff is included in the plan made by the wedding place. Though I think getting a pedicure will be extra. I had no idea people do all of that before getting married. It seems like a bit much, but seeing as Japanese weddings are conducted like a show, it's not so surprising. I even have to follow a plan. They have a schedule of when I should get my hair cut and what I should eat the day before the wedding. I'm already tired just thinking about it.

Unfortunately, unless you work in a convenience store, good air conditioning is unlikely. Japanese workplaces are always too hot for foreigner's tastes as they are controlled by the office ladies (the men are always too hot, but the women are always cold).
ReplyDeleteI always had conflicts with the Japanese staff because they'd set the air conditioner to the equivalent of 85 degrees.
