The bi-monthly Peanut Report is now brought to you by Blogger...

So, with H being in Nagoya learning all about solar panels, my mother-in-law accompanied me to my check up. It all feels like clockwork now. Pee in a cup, check my blood pressure and then go and wait for my number to be called in the slightly egg-shaped and extremely difficult to get out of cushy chair in the lobby. At my last visit I discovered that I had gained about 4 kg (8.81 lbs) in one month and, needless to say, the doctor did a lot of frowning and, surprisingly, told me to eat less fruit. I followed the doctor's orders and took my own initiative to count my calories and I weighted in 0.4 kg (0.88 lbs) lighter than last time. I know it's generally not good to loose weight during your third trimester. Believe me, I wasn't trying to (my daily serving of ice cream can attest to that), but the doctor seemed to be pleased that I'm now back on my original weight gaining track. Having never attempted to count my calories before, I had no clue that fruit like strawberries and oranges are generally so high in calories. I also had no idea that an hour walk doesn't even burn 300 of them. Not that I have been able to take that many with the weather like it is.

Anyway, otherwise the Peanut is looking good. Sadly, he wouldn't show his face or genitalia to us this time, so the video is rather short and unimpressive. I hope you enjoy it all the same. This is my first time to post video on my blog, so if you can't see it let me know.

  1. Yea for Peanut and Mom! I can see the video but I have no idea what I am looking at :) I am sure if it was important, you'd point it out for people like me. I am glad you are healthy and likely to have a baby who loves fruit lol.
