I got a long overdue pedicure on Monday (long overdue because I haven't been able to comfortably reach my toes for at least a month now) and everyday since then had been rainy or cold. It's times like these that I miss my Texas spring where sandal weather starts in late March and ends in October. Today is looking pretty good though. The forecast is showing that it might get up to 15 C (or 60 F) and it should be sunny most of the day. I know 60 sounds cold, but when you've been living in 30 or 40 degree weather for 4 or 5 months, 60 is down right warm. So today I will be pulling out the sandals and showing off my sparkly toes for anyone who cares to see. I'm sure I'll get more than a couple of frowns from the little old ladies at the grocery store.
I'm going to my new favorite bakery to pick up some lunch for my friend and I. They have bagels. Goooood bagels. Not midget, made by a machine bagels. They're yummy even when eaten untoasted bagels. They have other yummy stuff too, but finding a place that makes bagels, let alone good ones, has made me very happy.
