The 36th Week Peanut Report

All is well... the peanut is now 2600 grams, or 5.7 lbs. If you watch the video to the very end you can see boy parts. Oh, boy!

He's finally here! Aren (明蓮) Dean Matsuzawa was born July 19th. He weighed 3280 g and was 53 cm long. As you can see, he's got big, curious eyes... we're not sure what color they are... blue? grey? somewhere in between? Here's the three of us in the delivery room right after the birth. I was in labor for 34 hours; we were all exhausted...still are. He's now 9 days old, and slowly getting used to living at home. Just 4 more days and my mom will be here so I can get some rest. Hurry up grandma! I need a nap!

House Building - Day 90

Pa? Wood finished around the front door... it think they'll stain it the same color as the posts Bedroom bookshelf No.1 Bedroom bookshelf No.2 (and TV shelf) Playing in the grass on the way to the house... he threw a tantrum about 30 seconds after I took this picture... :(

Snow? What snow? I have a spoon! It's been snowing buckets...wait, what do you say for snow? pails? Anyway it's been snowing since this morning and everyone is stuck inside, including H. All of the installations have been cancelled and we are rearranging the shop instead. Our next shop event is March 11, 12, and 13 (if you're in the neighborhood and need some appliances), so there's a lot to be done to get the shop ready.
