I got two comments! Yay! I have decided to be positive and celebrate the two wonderful people reading the mostly unimportant stuff that I write.
Last Wednesday, Thursday and yesterday I went to my elementary schools (due to that I am losing my voice), and Wednesday a trainer guy from some school district office came to watch my class. They also neglected to tell me that he was coming. After a full day of classes, we also had a meeting (I wasn't told about that either, surprise, surprise). I was a little wary going in to the meeting because whenever we have those kinds of meetings at my regular school, it all sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher after five minutes. I don't know if all elementary school trainers are like that, because it was my first time meeting one but I enjoyed it. I ENJOYED the meeting. I understood everything he said and I found myself nodding in agreement every other sentence. He actually gave the teachers specific things they could try to improve their classes. Not just general blah, blah, blah about nothing in particular. It was great. I barely noticed when the sun disappeared and the room started to freeze. If only he could teach the stuffy old trainers not to drone on like they do, then I might look forward to learning something from the other trainers that come. I know, it's Japan, and stuffy and boring is probably the ideal for trainers...sigh.
In other news... I'll be back in Texas for a visit and a couple weddings (one mine and one of my cousin's) in less than two weeks. I haven't packed a thing, nor have I even looked at my suitcases. I should. I will. OK, OK. Tonight...or maybe tomorrow.
