Nothing opened until 11, so we hung out in our hotel room until ten. Then we drove about 30 minutes to Yokohama. We spent most of the day shopping with a wonderful birthday Mexican food lunch for me. Luckily H likes Mexican food too. I found a Birkenstock store and bought myself a new pair of sandals. Here's a picture... with my swollen ankles, but very cute toe nails! I was worried about getting sores between my toes, but the upper strap stops my feet from sliding down that far into the toe strap. I wore them the rest of the day and had no problems.
Also, I sent my old pair off to be repaired... now that I think of it, I should have taken a before/after picture. Oh well. I'll take an after picture when they get back in about a month. I've had those sandals for ten years, and I'm looking forward to another ten ;)
I didn't buy anything other than that. H got some new Crocs flip-flops (I was tempted to get a pair as well), a shirt and another cap. He just couldn't resist the design. It's the cap on the right reading "Wrong Foot;" the one on the left is the one he bought yesterday.

We went to the new shopping center in Yokahama called 'Bay Quarter.' It was pretty nice. There were a lot of baby / kids stores, so we browsed a little. It'll be more fun to go back with an actual baby to shop for. Oh yeah! I decided that I want one of the off-road strollers with the gigantic wheels, they were really cool.
We left around 3:30 and headed home. I was too tired to make dinner, so we picked something up at the grocery store. We had our dinner at my parents-in-law's house because they don't get back from Okinawa until tomorrow, and we are taking care of their cat. She was excited to see us when we came in, but soon got over it when she realized who we were.
