I keep hearing stories from my husband about picking up 6 or 7 month old babies at our customer's houses and him thinking how light they feel... Is Aren really that huge?!? Well, I think he's pretty big, since I have to carry him around most of the time. I know 8 kilos is not small, but how does he measure up to other babies really... Tomorrow I have my chance to find out. We're going to go get his TB vaccine at the city health center. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the tiny babies and comparing. I hope to take pictures...
As you may or may not know, there's not much Halloween in Japan, especially out here in Nagano. I miss the fun of the costumes and the post-Halloween candy eat-a-thon. Last year the conversation school I worked at was planning a party, but it got cancelled due to the new-flu. This year I'm not at an English school, so the only Halloween was one of my own making. Sadly, all I did was carve some mini pumpkins and dress Aren in his Halloween shirt. It was okay, but I think I might have to spearhead a Halloween party next year to get my Halloween fix.
He can sleep anywhere ;)

  1. He's gorgeous! And Halloween is not part of my culture at all but I have grown to really look forward to it since I moved here so I can imagine you'd miss it if you didn't have it.

And if you do decide to go for a party next year let me know, huh? hint hint!
